Nicky thought that she was really lucky, because she had a loving husband and a daughter. Although the girl was born in her first marriage, her second husband was a great man, who not only accepted her child, but loved her like his own daughter and supported her in every step of the way. The only thing Nicky couldn’t stop thinking about was her childhood dream. Since she was a little girl she knew, that she would want to adopt a child, once she grew up. The girl was fascinated by the idea of helping someone, who didn’t have a chance of being adopted. She was scared to break down the news to her husband, but eventually she did, and was glad to hear that he was on board with the adoption plan. “We must have seen thousand of profiles, before we picked Ruslam. Brittney Griner sad story

Image
The American WNBA player Brittney Griner acknowledged having cannabis oil on the second day of her trial in Russia. She might now spend up to 10 years in prison. Many people who know Griner’s public character, her outspoken advocacy for LGBT rights, and her history of mental health difficulties were surprised by her disclosure. The trial will continue to be closely watched as it moves forward, even if it is unclear how this will impact her case. The question is whether Washington and Moscow will be able to strike a deal on releasing American inmates, including Griner, given the diplomatic tension. Griner recently pleaded guilty and mentioned she didn’t want to break the law. She then asked to give her testimony later, and the court adjourned. Before the issue was settled, a top Russian official had stated that no steps could be taken toward a prisoner swap. Sergei Ryabkov, Russia’s deputy foreign minister, claimed that Griner’s chances of being released were not increased by the A...

'Princess Diaries 3' is officially in the works at Disney

Image
This is not a drill; Princess Diaries 3 is officially in the works at Disney! Now I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but The Princess Diaries 1 and 2 defined my entire childhood. Watching Anne Hathaway turn from a nerd to a princess under the watchful eye of Julie Andrews was every young girl's wannabe rags-to-riches storyline, right? Or was that just me? Regardless, both movies are hailed as two of the most iconic, feel-good films out there so if you haven't watched them yet, first of all, where have you been for the past two decades? But secondly, here's a little context to help get you up to speed. The 2001 and 2004 movies are based on Meg Cabot's novel series and tell the story of Mia Thermopolis (played by Hathaway), a normal American teenager who finds out she's the heir to the throne of Genovia. After undergoing a makeover and some lessons in how to behave like a princess, she must decide if the royal life is for her or not. Anne Hathaway and Julie An...

Hilarie Burton calls Candace Cameron Bure a 'bigot' after 'traditional marriage' comment

Image
Hilarie Burton has slammed Candace Cameron Bure as a "bigot" after the Full House star made some controversial comments about marriage. In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, the 46-year-old outlined the reasons behind her departure from Hallmark, explaining that the channel became "a completely different network than when [she] started." In 2020, the former CEO of Hallmark Media, Bill Abbott, made the decision to step down from his role following a scandal that saw the production company pull an ad that featured a lesbian couple. The sudden U-turn on the decision was prompted by the conservative group One Million Moms, which hinted that the wholesome ad was somehow inappropriate. Later, it emerged that Abbott had given in to pressure of a potential boycott and canceled the commercial entirely. However, since he left the company, it seems as though Hallmark has been trying to diversify its range of Christmas stories, with its most recent being The Holiday...
